The Fairie Gardens Hand-crafted & Decorated Paper Sachet

This, one-of-a-kind, potpourri sachet can be used as an ornamental wall hanging or leaning piece wherever a wonderful fragrance and a splash of color is desired. It is made with hand-made paper, a fine art print or a photo from our gardens, or a fairy figurine and dried herbs and flowers. Some have fragrant gilded Morus root and all have a thoughtful quote.

The Fairie Gardens Fragrant Eye Pillow

Herbal eye pillows follow an age old tradition of using herbs to help us relax and sleep. The Fairie Herb Gardens eye pillow is designed to relieve eye strain, stress, and promote overall relaxation. This handcrafted eye pillow contains a compatible aroma therapy mixture of lavender and rose flowers, peppermint herb, flax seed, and anise and orange essential oils. Weighty flax seed provides a beneficial light acupressure. Instructions: After gently fluffing, to release the delightful fragrance, place the eye pillow over your closed eyes, evening out so about 1/2 half of the mixture is over each eye. Take a couple of long slow deep breaths and feel the stress begin to disappear.

The Fairie Gardens BATH/SCRUB BAGS

“Like taking a bath in a giant tea cup!”
These herbal bath/scrub bags will, when rubbed gently on the skin, cleanse and remove dead skin cells. The bags are good for two to three scrubs each. The bags may also be hung underneath a running hot-water tap or immersed in a Jacuzzi for a special bath treat. Fairie Balm Lotion with "MAGIK"

A special herbal potion to warm and stimulate the senses. Ingredients: Aroma therapy based Magik is a complex, uplifting and stimulating blend of Cedarleaf (Thuja), Tangerine, Rosemary, Anise, Patchouli and Lime essential oils, Hazelnut and Pecan oils, Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, Calendula, Plantain, Chickweed, and Comfrey. For External Use Only. Shake well before each use. Fairie Balm Lotion with MAGIK can be used as a nourishing and moisture-replenishing after-bath lotion, as a massage oil, and as your special body fragrance. Fairie Balm Ointment

Here is some information about our Fairie Balm ointment. I have broken it down into its individual ingredients, with the medicinal properties of each.

• Almond (and other nut) oils work better than olive oil, which is strong-smelling and gives a rather slimy consistency. The nut oils also allow smooth motion in massage, while giving enough friction to generate heat.
• Bee’s-wax, besides helping keep the ointment solid, also has antiseptic and anti-fungal qualities. That is why bees-nests don’t get moldy.
• Cocoa Butter is, of course, used in many sun-screens. It is also just generally soothing, as well as keeping the solid but soft consistency of Fairie Balm.
• Calendula Flowers….[is] antiseptic, anti-fungal, astringent, wound-healing….therapeutic for burns, scalds, sunburns, bruises, wounds, and slow-healing sores. An effective anti-inflammatory, it brings down swellings of sprains, insect bites, varicose veins, and contusions. It is also used in cases of athlete’s-foot, and to treat conjunctivitis.**
• Plantain Leaf….speed[s] wound healing….[soothes] burns, bee-stings, hemorrhoids, and conjunctivitis.*
• Chickweed Leaf….once used to fade freckles….treats inflamed skin, itching eczema, psoriasis, and surface veins. It soothes rheumatic joints, draws out splinters, and heals wounds.*
• Comfrey Leaf contains calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and allantoin which speeds cell renewal in damaged muscles and broken bones….speeds healing of cuts, burns, open sores, and eczema.*
